With the complete sell-out of logs imported by the 'Angelis' vessel, the group has established a long-term partnership with Pacific PFP, New Zealand's largest log supplier. The 'African Heron' vessel, which arrived at Lanshan Port in early August loaded with radiata pine, is a result of further cooperation with New Zealand's Pacific PFP and has already seen more than half of its stock sold; additionally, the logs imported by the 'Yilan' vessel from Japan's Sumitomo Company, which arrived on September 17, will also be sold and shipped out as quickly as possible according to the plan. As of now, the international trade sector of the group has imported and sold over 700,000 cubic meters of logs, successfully ranking among the top ten enterprises in the country in terms of the unit price of imported logs.
This year, under the leadership of the group company, Dongfang Shenghua Company has adhered to a short, flat, and fast strategy for log imports, consistently focusing on cost efficiency, quick sales, rapid delivery, and low inventory. This has not only controlled risks but also improved business levels and capital utilization efficiency. Colleagues in the group's international trade sector have strictly implemented the strategic deployment of the group company, working together and making concerted efforts. While continuously improving the company's economic benefits, they strive to achieve a monthly import of two vessels and sell out two vessels of logs, aiming to enhance the group's market share of log imports in the domestic market.
